Pearl Mussel Project

Do you like textile crafts? Have you ever wanted to learn how to needle-felt?

As part of our Freshwater Pearl Mussel project we will be running a felting workshop this Wednesday. During the day we will be working with the school pupils and in the evening we are running an adult workshop, though you are welcome to bring your children if you'd like, they can carry on making the felt background while the adults work on needle-felting details such as fish and pearl mussels.

The evening session runs from 6:30pm till 9pm. You are welcome to come for all or some of that time. There is no cost for the course which will be held at the Kilchoan Learning Centre.

The resulting felt tapestry will be on display in the community so you can all admire your work!

Any questions please get in contact with me (details below) or to book a place on the course please get in touch with Rachel Kidd rachael.kidd.whc@uhi.ac.uk
