Please come along on Wednesday afternoon, any time from 12.30, to blitz the tunnel site ready for the new tunnel being put up in March. The frame of the old tunnel has now been taken down, thanks to Trevor and Paul, and the next job is to clear the site of any remaining timber, remove as many of the concreted bases as possible, and generally clean up any remaining storm debris from the site.
Jamie has dug a fire pit, so we can have a bonfire with the old tunnel timber. I have marshmallows to toast on the fire. And there will be hot soup and refreshments to sustain us through the afternoon.
Your help and enthusiasm will be much appreciated!
Hope to see you there.
